I've posted this card before, but since I'm doing all the Brazil cards chronologically, I needed to revisit this one. I won't repeat the memory this card invoked, however.

Also, any boys that happen upon this blog probably won't object to the eye candy.

I spoke with my dad on the phone a couple of days ago--for eleven minutes! That's seriously a record. He's home after another round of chemo treatment at a cancer center in Arkansas. He says he had a relapse. I'm not quite sure what that means, and I didn't want to ask. But the doctors started him on a new treatment that they're optimistic about. He called me from work, so he's well enough for that, which is a good sign.

I asked if he thought he'd be up for visitors during the next couple of months. He said, "let's play it by ear," which means no.
